Cause Summary
Education Program for the learners was affected due to Covid 19, after outbreak of Covid 19, the challenges for primary schools in Kakuma refugee camp to cover the whole syllabus became hard and it was requested to attend the national exams twice in a year .and this is what lead us to add our more effort on supporting learners on education before they go to the national Exams. We are worried for the coming grade and most of them are unable to support themselves with education materials. Other contributing factors which are leading our girls to fail are the follow by, Lack of education materials and dignity kits (pads).
Problem / Challenge
Learners are going through hard time after Covid 19 , many of them can be able to perform well due to lack of extra time to learn with teach and also most of them they are facing challenges for education materials which can be used during Government exams . now they are starting preparation for National exams and they are afraid because they didn't yet finish the whole syllabus . after Covid 19 , the education system changed and now we expect our learners to work on two government exams which is hard for them.
Solution / Impact
After finding out the problem , we decide to take our learners through private coaching so that they can cover the remaining part of the syllabus before exams , but also it still hard due to lack of finance support.
