Cause Summary

With over 400,000 people estimated to be internally displaced throughout the North-East region Somalia particularly Bari region.. And they require urgent humanitarian assistance. Displaced people are chronically more food insecure, lack of basic shelter and education Poverty is pervasive, particularly in rural areas and displaced communities and areas where access remains a challenge, and the current estimates of 71 per cent of the population living below the poverty line are expected to remain at similar levels for 2022-23.
