SCHOOL FEES TO THE NEEDY CHILDREN IN UGANDA
Cause Summary
Kisa Foundation Uganda(KFU) is a non profitable growing community based organization formed on community hearted core values of helping critically vulnerable households reaching them with a wide range of services for the betterment of their lives and the community at large. Currently the foundation is taking care of vulnerable children through providing education services the vulnerable children who wouldn't have been to school because of school fees. Last term(First term) we got support from AIDONIC and 19 children were fully under full support of school fees, daily meals at school and this has really made them to change their academic performance very well. We thank the whole team of AIDONIC and all stakeholders(donors) towards their contribution for the growth and development of our Nansana community.
Problem / Challenge
At present Kisa Foundation Uganda is offering education to children many of whom are orphans or cannot pay. These pupils total to almost 51%. However, the 49% that is paid cannot meet all school requirements, salaries etc; likewise the school is unable to offer meals for the pupils because we don’t have the money. Time and again we have been looking for friends, well wishers coming in to help. Kisa Foundation Uganda is facing a problem of feeding the children especially when they are at school.
Solution / Impact
with that brief description, we humbly request for your support in our continuous program of providing our vulnerable children with school fees so as to go back to school in time for their term two. The Uganda education system is made up of three terms annually in each and every class. After the year , the child is then promoted to the next class. we plead to all good people out there to us with school fees for these vulnerable children because if the don't go to school many of them become idle in their slums where they stay and mostly girls become pregnant which hinders their future plans.
