Summary

The purpose of this 6-month project is to train 60 adolescent pregnant girls, teenage mothers and young women in vocational skills (making sanitary towels and crafts and learning modern farming skills in horticulture) and soft skills as an approach to reduce poverty and malnutrition among families, thereby reducing early marriages in these districts. The soft skills will include material-based basic entrepreneurship training and financial literacy targeting teenagers and young women 10-30 years old. The project will also empower adolescent girls to make informed choices around Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHRs) that will have a lifelong impact.
